Info and Concepts

Aerotrack uses a very powerful database engine and uses a consistent ‘find in window’ technique to expose the full power of its search capabilities. Using this technique it is possible to search on the most relevant fields on each section.

Finds can be run on all list view screens in aerotrack.

  1. In your selected list view click on the find button. This will pop a find window. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F.
  2. Enter your search into the relevant field. (you may enter a search into more than one field for a more exact result)
  3. Press the ‘Find’ button.
  4. Always check the record counter after you perform a search, this counter is found in the upper left corner of the form. The number will tell you how many records have been found.
  5. The records that have been found after running a search are called the ‘foundset’. The number of records is called the ‘foundset count’.

We encourage you to enter searches into more than 1 field at a time to get a much more accurate result.

To show all records again, click the ‘Show All’ button. This is located next to the ‘Find’ button.
