Setting up the Xero connection

Connecting Aerotrack to Xero

  1. Navigate to SYSTEM > company details > Accounting > Xero Settings.
    • Xero must be selected as the choice of software from the dropdown list.
  2. Navigate to Authentication > Actions Menu > Authorize.
    • This will open your default web browser to a Xero login portal.
  3. Provide your Xero credentials in the Xero login portal.
  4. Allow Aerotrack Systems access to your chosen organisation’s data (See screenshot)

Integrating Xero with Aerotrack is a once off requirement. When the authentication token expires, Aerotrack will automatically re-authorize on behalf of the user allowing a onetime set up.

 

Disconnecting Aerotrack from Xero

  1. Navigate to SYSTEM > company details > Accounting > Xero Settings.
    1. Xero must be selected as the choice of Software from the dropdown list.
  2. Navigate to Authentication > Actions Menu > Revoke.

This will clear the Xero Tenant, Expiry, Token and Refresh token fields. Aerotrack will then need to be manually removed from the connected apps page in Xero.

Re-Establishing Link to Xero if Connection Fails

If you are unable to push or pull data from Xero via Aerotrack, the connection may need to be reconfigured. To do this follow the steps outlined in Disconnecting Aerotrack from Xero, then reconnect following the steps in Connecting Aerotrack to Xero.
