Info and Concepts

When Aerotrack Ops is used in conjunction with Aerotrack MRO is it possible to have the aircraft maintenance schedule updated when the pilots are entering their flight hours.

This allows the maintenance tracking to be as up to date as it can be and saves any double entry of data from different departments.

Where

The aircraft update function is located within the Sector Returns table view. This allows the pilots to update the aircraft once they have finished entering their sectors for the day.

The aircraft update function is located within the Sector Returns table view. This allows the pilots to update the aircraft once they have finished entering their sectors for the day.

Once a pilot has finished entering the sector returns the software will group together all the counters that have been added, these can be displayed and then applied to the aircraft in the MRO solution. This can done each time a pilot enters their sectors or it can done at the end of the days flying.

Walkthrough

  1. Pilots enter their sector times as usual.
  2. Once all the data has been entered click on the Update Aircraft MR Time icon as shown above.
  3. This opens the update window as shown below.
  4. The Show Detail button will open another window which shows all the sectors for the date selected. If an update has already been done for that day the sectors that have been updated will be ticked and the ones to be done in this update will not be ticked.
  5. To update the aircraft hours in the MRO solution click the “Update Aircraft With new Totals” button.
  6. This will update the aircraft in MRO and a record of the update will be shown in the Update History tab of the aircraft.

    NOTES:

Once a day has been processed it cannot be changed from the Ops side. If an error is made it can only be rectified from the MRO solution. The should be done every day if using the method. If data is processed from today the user cannot then enter sectors from the previous day and have those updated as well.
